You've been asking...now I'm delivering! Learn how to get more from your DSLR (or your point and shoot) in a Beginner's Photography Class held at my studio in Leesburg. This is not a class to teach you how to become a professional photographer (sorry, that would take more than three hours). This class will help you learn how to capture better pictures of your children in their everyday activities to preserve those memories. Class size is limited.

Photoblitz Fall 2011--October 22nd

Photoblitz is in full swing. Please use PayPal to sign up. I'll be sending you times as it gets closer. I will use Sunday as the rain date. We've had so much rain this year I hate to book both days and not have back-up times for others! Looking forward to a fun weekend!!! WOW!!! What a summer!

Hi All! Hard to believe the last entry in my blog was May--Lindsey's wedding! So much has gone on between then and now. I've moved from my studio on King Street to a new place on Church Street (202 Church). I'm so excited to be part of the George Mason "Incubator"...a great place for small businesses! My new space will be official by October 1st...however, I'm hoping to get in this week! I'll be sending out pics later! Huge things on the horizon while there. In the mean time we're in wedding season AND portrait season. My new entry will be for the Photoblitz weekend! just felt like I couldn't tell you what's been going on! Can't wait to share some new images!!! Hugs to all and happy NINE years for JHP!!! Hard to believe!!!!

Lindsey gets married!

The day has passed...we're all sad and happy to see sweet Lindsey Joy (my cousin) get married! She was so ridiculously beautiful! The first pic in the field is her bridal portrait...(which I was dying to post before the wedding but didn't want to spoil it for Will!) The others are some of my favorite moments...Dad crying while dancing, Kelly giving the greatest speech, her super fun bridal party doing my least favorite shot (which I begged them not to make me do!), Nolan falling asleep after his "ring master" duties were done and the dancing had pooped him... and the feather dress which made the going away debut! How cool is she! Hope you love sweet girl!
