Fall Photoblitz 2015

It's that time of the year!  So excited to be photographing you for all these years!!!   Pretty soon your kids will be in college and I'll be in a nursing home!  :-)  This year our photoblitz will take place at The Farm in Hamilton.  The Farm is where I had my 40th birthday party complete with a barn, large fields, a swing, and gardens!  I love Carolyn and Bud Green for letting me take gorgeous photographs at their home.  Their home is also special because it is where I started my photography business 15  years ago.

I will also be shooting in downtown Leesburg if you would like to do that venue.  You can never go wrong with all the buildings and textures that surround the town!  I'll be shooting in Leesburg one of the three days.  If you wish to do a sitting like in years past, it will be $175. This will include one high-res color digital corrected image ($50 value).   A hi-res CD can be purchased of all images for $500.

In addition to this, I am offering another package with additional items. 

Packages this year (like last year) are simple.  Each package will include:
-30-45 minute sitting at your chosen location ($175.00)
-All images posted online for your viewing (2 months)
-8 high-resolution images (value: $400)
-24 Custom cards for your holidays ($50)--Pearl paper

Summer Photography Camp-July 28-Aug 1, 2014

So excited to do summer camp again this year!  Last year I was thrilled to see the amazing results by the end of the week.  This class is for beginners and those that are a bit more advanced.

Calling all Middle Schoolers and rising 9th Graders!!


As many of you know I used to teach middle school Langauage Arts. I truly love this age group! This summer I'm offering a one week camp for middle schoolers (rising 6th graders through rising freshmen). Each day campers will meet in Leesburg at our "training camp" to go over basics of photography. Students will be given daily assignments and will be shooting throughout the town of Leesburg. This is going to be fun for all! Camp days go from 9-1pm each day. Campers can bring a packed lunch or buy something at one of the local restaurants. On Friday our class will have a "show" from their week's assignments. No need to have large cameras, point and shoots work great too!  Camp costs $200 (all materials are covered).  Class size is limited.

HAPPPPPY NEW YEAR!

This past weekend I was honored to shoot a wedding of a lifetime.  I met Tempe and her daughter a few years ago when I was photographing her for the Loudoun Pediatrics Assoc. waiting room portraits.  I remember at the time thinking she was super lovely and I had wished she would find happiness after the great loss of her husband.  Well...it happened and love she found.  Possibly the most I've ever cried at a wedding.  UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!!!  Yesterday I received a note that all photographers dream about...wanted to share.

We are almost without words...... YOUR photos are  absolutely FANTASTIC and BEYOND BELIEF..... you captured the absolute joy and love of our wedding day more than we thought was possible ..... the pictures are something out of a dream... we never expected to have such AMAZING photos... I've never seen anyone's wedding pictures look like these !!!!! .... you captured  all our family and friends in such a warm and genuine way and in the middle of every picture Jon and I are standing there sooooo VERY happy and proud and clearly sooo IN LOVE !!!!   YOU will have our heartfelt gratitude  forever for these WONDERFUL photos!!!!  It means so much to us to have you there  and your pictures are so joyous and tender and touching..... WE CAN'T  THANK YOU ENOUGH !!!!!  We have watched the slideshow twice already and keep smiling and crying at the same time.... we are having trouble  getting through these past few days because our wedding day was so special and we keep wanting to do it all over again !!!!

Come out for the Spring Photoblitz--Sunday, May 19th!  

It's that time of the year!!! Looking forward to spending time with my favorite clients both new and not so new! :-) This year I'll be at Morven Park in Leesburg. I've already done a few shoots there and it's perfect! A beautiful mansion, (home to two governors) great boxwoods, a carriage house, and acres of fields with beautiful trees!  See you soon!  All pics will be uploaded for you to view!
